Senior Community Manager, based in Glasgow

Department: Community Management

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Dependent on experience

Role

Reporting directly to our Head of Community, you will be required to:

  • Engage, interact and create value for our clients’ customers on a daily basis through management of Facebook pages and other social media profiles.
  • Assist with copywriting, content planning, and strategising.
  • Compose clear and interesting social media updates suiting the tone and personality of the brands we work with.
  • Provide appropriate feedback and reporting of progress and results to clients on online social media communities, their customers’ online behaviours, and demographics in line with business objectives.
  • Follow instructions on how to further meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Contribute to regular creative brainstorming sessions, quarterly planning meetings and weekly team meetings as necessary.

Knowledge and skills

These are essential:
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how they can be deployed in different scenarios. The ability to give examples of your favourite campaigns and brands on social media.
  • Experience and understanding of how to build, grow, nurture, engage, and maintain online communities and social media profiles.
  • Immaculate written English skills.
  • An approachable and personable attitude; the ability to work well within a team and autonomously when required.
  • Be a digital native with a strong interest in technology, innovation, and current trends. You will relish digital – and especially social media – technologies and have a number of go-to sources for the most current information.
  • The ability to explain your opinion on the type of updates best suited to each of the main social media platforms and why.
  • The ability to apply the wider strategic business needs of clients into the day to day running of social media profiles.
  • Accomplished in creating presentations and supporting documents for internal and client use.
  • Comfortable in a client facing role.
  • Great presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic to learn and contribute, with ambition to progress and improve knowledge and skills quickly.
Preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Educated to degree level in a business, social sciences, or associated discipline.
  • Be able to draw on some first-hand knowledge and experience of community management and online user behavior.

Account Manager, based in Glasgow

Department: Account Management

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Dependent on experience

Role

Reporting directly to the agency CSD, we are looking for an Account Manager to work within our client team at our Glasgow office.

We need an ambitious and experienced person to:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by helping to create and deliver social media campaigns as well as digital strategies.
  • Coordinate outputs from across the agency to ensure projects are delivered to exceptional standards.
  • Meet with clients regularly to build rapport and help understand their needs.
  • Be prepared to travel between our Glasgow and London offices when required.
  • You should work with the senior client services team in Glasgow to help manage workload within their accounts

Knowledge and skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail – this is a fast moving job and we’re looking for the best.
  • At least 2 years experience in social media or digital marketing, client- or agency-side.
  • Be able to work with clients from different sectors and levels of experience.
  • Be able to work independently. We want you to take on responsibility for day-to-day client management within your accounts, working with both our account management and planning teams to deliver industry-leading strategies
  • Be a digital native, aware of emerging trends, strategies and technologies
  • Have the enthusiasm and determination to learn quickly and contribute from day one
Preferred
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Experience in a fast moving agency environment.
