C#.Net Developer
A fantastic opportunity to join Yomego’s multi-disciplined development team in Glasgow city centre. We want to hear from developers who are enthusiastic about programming and are interested in working with the latest Microsoft tools and technologies in an exciting sector of the industry.
We will consider developers with a minimum of 2 years commercial development experience and will pay competitive rates for the right person.
Required skills:
- Strong OOP with C#
- Relational database design & development, preferably with SQL Server
- Web UI techniques (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Desired skills:
- .NET MVC
- Experience with an ORM tool such as LINQ to SQL, nHibernate or the Entity Framework
- Working knowledge of unit testing frameworks / continuous integration / source control
- Exposure to a Javascript framework such as JQuery
Nice-to-have skills:
- Demonstrable experience with established social application APIs such as Facebook, Open Social, Twitter, Linked In etc
- Previous agency experience
Social Media Consultant
We are currently looking for a new consultant to play a major role in the growth of our London operation. Working closely with our Head of Social Strategy, our new person is possibly at a digital agency and ready for a more entrepreneurial challenge. They will need to have a genuine passion for social media and an understanding as to how a social strategy can integrate with a wider marketing plan.
This person will help to take Yomego’s specialist proposition to potential new clients as well as providing strategic advice, training and ideas to our current range of high profile clients. There is also a requirement to attend networking events and possibly fulfil speaker commitments, building advocacy and stimulating enquiries for our products and services.
Yomego is a meritocracy with a very flat management structure. There is scope to progress quickly and take on lots of responsibility, working out of our offices near London’s busy Charlotte Street, W1.
Skill-set required:
- Must be highly literate in social media and interested in new trends and audience behaviours
- Sound understanding of digital marketing and campaign management
- Well organised, with good prioritisation skills
- Feels comfortable working with technology / technical team
- Well connected, with experience in similar role within an agency environment, (although client-side experience also beneficial)
